SEO that does the work, not the paperwork
Most SEO retainers deliver a list of things your developer should do. We do them. Then we tell you, in sentences, what changed and whether it produced anything.
What our SEO work includes
An audit you can actually read
What is broken, what it is costing you, and what to fix first. Written in plain language, not a ninety-page export from a crawler with every warning left in to look thorough.
Technical work carried out
Indexing, crawl waste, Core Web Vitals, structured data, internal linking, redirect chains, the errors nobody has opened in two years. Done by us, not listed for someone else to do.
Pages for what people type
Research into the real questions your buyers ask, then pages that answer them fully. Written for a person, structured so a machine can quote them.
Earned authority
Links that exist because something was worth citing: original data, a genuinely useful tool, real press. Slower than buying them, and it still counts next year.
Visibility in AI answers
Being the source ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google’s AI results name. We test which assistants mention you and for which questions, then work on the gap.
One page a month
What moved, what it produced, what happens next. If a month went badly the report says so, because a report that is always good news is not a report.
Search is no longer only ten blue links
Three things changed at once, and an SEO plan written for 2019 loses on all three.
Answers replaced results
A growing share of searches end with a synthesized answer citing a handful of sources. If you are not one of the sources, ranking eighth is close to not existing. This is the single biggest shift in how people find businesses since mobile, and most agencies are still selling the old thing.
Discovery moved into feeds and communities
People ask in forums, watch a short video, check a map listing. Those places rank in search results and feed the answers assistants give, so work there counts twice.
Machines read your site before people do
Crawlers and AI agents parse your pages first. Clean structure, fast delivery and unambiguous facts are no longer housekeeping — they are distribution. We wrote about the practical side of this: how to get cited by AI assistants.
The first ninety days
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Week 1 | Full audit: technical, content, authority, and a citation test across the major AI assistants. You receive the written priority list, and it is yours whether or not you continue. |
| Weeks 2–4 | The technical work. This is where the fastest gains usually sit, because we are removing brakes rather than adding effort. |
| Weeks 4–8 | Content built on what your buyers actually search. Existing pages rewritten where they are nearly there, new pages where there is a gap. |
| Weeks 8–12 | Authority and distribution: the thing worth citing, the communities where your buyers ask, the listings that matter in your category. |
| Monthly | One page of reporting, and a decision together about where the next month goes. |
What we will not do
- Buy links. Cheap, effective for a while, and a liability that transfers to you.
- Guarantee a position. Nobody controls the algorithm. A guarantee is either a lie or a bet on a term nobody searches.
- Publish filler. Hundreds of thin pages written for a crawler used to work. Now it marks you as low quality to both search engines and language models.
- Hold your access hostage. The accounts are yours. If you leave, you take everything, including the work.
A reasonable question to ask us, or any agency: “show me something you fixed and what it produced”. We are new, so our honest answer is on the proof section of our home page — this site, measured live, and no invented case studies.
SEO questions
How long does SEO take to work?
Technical fixes can show within weeks because you are removing something that was actively holding the site back. Content and authority compound over months. Anyone promising results in days is either doing something you will later have to undo, or counting a metric that does not pay you.
Can you do SEO on my existing website?
Usually yes, and the first look says so honestly. If the platform caps your speed or will not output clean structured data, we will tell you that rebuilding is cheaper than fighting it, and show you the evidence rather than asking you to take our word for it.
Do you guarantee a position on Google?
No, and treat anyone who does with suspicion. Nobody controls the ranking algorithm. We guarantee the work, the measurement, and telling you the truth about what moved and what did not.
Do you buy backlinks?
No. Bought links are cheap, fast and a liability you inherit. We earn links by building something worth citing. It is slower and it does not get withdrawn when a search engine updates its policy.
What is GEO or answer engine optimisation?
Making your site the source that AI assistants quote when someone asks about your category. In practice: entity-level structured data, answers written so they can be extracted cleanly, an llms.txt file, and facts about you that stay consistent across the web so a model can corroborate them.
If the site itself is the problem
Sometimes the honest answer to an SEO brief is that the website is holding everything back and no amount of optimisation will fix a platform that cannot go fast or emit clean markup. In that case, read about how we design and build websites — and the two together cost less than doing them in sequence with two suppliers.
