Terms and conditions
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms apply when you engage us to design or build a website, to carry out SEO and visibility work, or both. Please read them before accepting a quote.
1. Who we are
Predix Digital LTD, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 17517761, registered office All Saints Business Centre, All Saints Street, Bolton, Greater Manchester, BL1 2EJ, United Kingdom. We trade as Predixition. You can reach us at [email protected] and we answer within one working day.
2. What we provide
We provide website design and development, and search engine optimisation and related visibility work. These are professional services, not physical goods, so nothing is shipped and there is nothing to return. The exact work is set out in the written quote we send you.
3. Quotes and acceptance
Every engagement starts with a written quote stating the scope, the price, the currency and the dates. A quote is valid for 30 days and states both the price and the currency. Work begins when you accept the quote in writing and the first payment has cleared.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are quoted individually because they depend on the number of pages and what already exists, so we do not publish a fixed price list. We quote, invoice and charge in euro (EUR) or US dollars (USD). Every quote states which of the two applies to you, and that is the currency your card or bank account will be debited in — we do not switch currency afterwards or convert the amount ourselves. Your quote states the exact figure before you commit to anything. Prices exclude VAT where VAT applies. If your own bank holds a third currency, your bank may apply its own conversion and fee, which is outside our control.
- Project work: 50% before work starts, 50% on delivery, unless the quote says otherwise.
- Monthly work: invoiced monthly in advance.
- Invoices are due within 14 days. We may pause work on overdue accounts after giving you notice.
- Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
5. Payment security
Card payments are handled entirely by our payment provider, which is certified to PCI-DSS Level 1, the highest level in the card industry. Card details are entered on their secure page and sent directly to them over an encrypted TLS connection. They never pass through our website and we never see, process or store your full card number, expiry date or security code. We keep only the record of the payment our provider sends back to us: the amount, the date and the last four digits.
This website is served over HTTPS throughout, with HSTS enabled, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted.
6. What we need from you
You provide the information, access and approvals we need, and you confirm you have the right to use any text, images or logos you give us. Delays in providing these move the agreed dates.
7. Changes to the work
If you want something outside the agreed scope, we will tell you the cost and the effect on the dates before doing it. Nothing extra is charged without your written agreement.
8. Ownership
When you have paid in full, the finished website and its content are yours. We keep ownership of our own underlying tools and components, and we may show the finished work as an example of what we do unless you ask us in writing not to.
9. Third-party services
Hosting, domains, email and similar services are provided by third parties under their own terms. Where you ask us to buy them on your behalf, we pass the cost on to you.
10. No guarantee of rankings
Search engines and AI assistants decide independently what to show and what to cite. We can guarantee the work we do, the measurement and honest reporting. We cannot guarantee a particular position, a particular volume of traffic, or that any assistant will name you, and we will never claim otherwise.
11. Liability
We are liable for loss we cause by failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending the engagement
Either of us may end an engagement in writing. What happens to money already paid is set out in our refund and cancellation policy.
13. Your data
How we handle personal information is described in our privacy notice.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction.
